Today, in math class, we were finding out which bowl or bottle holds more coloured water. The thinking behind the lesson was to show that the shape of the bowl doesn't influence the amount of water it holds.
First, the little people checked the levels for themselves. Next, they used sticky notes and voted for which container they thought held the most water.
Finally the big reveal. We poured the water into cups, counting as we did so. To everyone's surprise, each container held three cups of coloured water.
To help us remember, we reviewed our learning objectives and discussed what we had seen.
