It was both fun and educational to research trains online and in books; it was even more exciting, to get messy and make our own trains.



With glue, tape and a dash of imagination the little people made some big trains.


Empty boxes and loo paper rolls are such stuff as dreams are made on.
To wrap up our inquiry week we took a trip to a local train museum where we could learn more about trains and thoroughly enjoy ourselves.
Inquiry week may have drawn to a close, but our learning journey will continue as we consolidate our learning by filling out the what we have learned section of our KWL charts.
